18U BLUE JAYS PG ELITE Our Blue Jay is hype!

The mission of the Blue Jays 18U PG Elite team is to give our players an opportunity to play a lot of softball, have fun and showcase their skills to college coaches over the summer.

What are the 18U eligibility requirements?
Female athletes born in 1993 or later can play in our 18U tournaments and leagues.

How many games will the Blue Jays PG Elite team play during the 2012 season?
The team will play seven tournaments and participate in a team camp from Memorial Day weekend through July 2012. Tentative schedule:
- Memorial Day Weekend: Charm City Challenge - MD
- June 2-3: Louisville Slugger Rock and Rumble - MD
- June 9-10: Pony Mid Summer Classic - Southern PA
- June 23-24: USSSA State Championship - MD
- June 28-July 1: TNT Showcase - PA
- July 9-12: Team Camp - Northern NJ
- July 14-15: Be the Best Showcase - MD
- July 23-29: USSSA World Series - Ocean City, MD
- Tentative Fall 2012 schedule: showcase tournaments in Maryland, Virginia Beach and Myrtle Beach

Do the Blue Jays provide college recruiting assistance?
Yes, the Bowie Blue Jays organization will do all that it can to help our players who want to play college softball.
Members of our 18U team can obtain a membership in the Top Prospect Network (TPN) online college recruiting service. TPN allows players to upload a profile and skills videos, find college softball programs that are a good fit for them and contact college coaches online.
We also help players produce skills videos and find college camps and clinics that our players can attend, often at a discounted price.

Where are practices?
Practice are in Bowie, MD, primarily at Blacksox Park (2201 Mitchellville Road, Bowie, MD 20716). The team also conducts indoor workouts, primarily at Extra Innings in Upper Marlboro, MD.
