12U BLUE JAYS
The Bowie Blue Jays 12U team is a first-year travel team that will play six to eight tournaments and doubleheaders against other regional travel teams during spring/summer 2012. Our objective is to mold a talented group of girls into a team that will have fun and improve in 2012 and compete at higher levels in the future.
The team got off to a great start in Fall 2011 by competing in the Fairfax County Girls Softball League against 12U travel teams from throughout Northern Virginia and Montgomery County, MD.

- What are the 12U eligibility requirements?
Girls born in 1999 or later can play in our 12U tournaments and leagues. - How many games will the Blue Jays 12U team play during the 2012 season?
Our 12U team will play 40 - 50 games from April through early August 2012. The team will play in 7 - 8 tournaments and doubleheaders in the Central Maryland Fastpitch League against other regional travel teams. - Where are practices and games?
Practice are in Bowie, MD, primarily at Blacksox Park (2201 Mitchellville Road, Bowie, MD 20716). Most of the team's tournaments will be within one hour drive-time from Bowie. The team may travel to play in up to two out of town tournaments in the Mid Atlantic region.
